KRISTEN SHALLISH
Interior Designer

Kristen was born in Ithaca, New York, received her Bachelors of Sociology from St. Lawrence University and moved to Boston to become a teacher.  A lifelong interest in design finally led her to take continuing education courses at the New England School of Art and Design, and she was hooked.  Kristen is currently working towards a Masters of Interior Design at the Boston Architectural College.  With a background in sociology and education she finds that her design perspective is rooted in an interest for the ways that people live and how they utilize space.  In the balance of work and school, Kristen is happily consumed with design, but also strives to find time for cooking, running, and exploring.
