Bright Light Brings Out the Details

We’ve been talking about light here on the Leslie Saul & Associates blog.

Light just might be the most basic of design elements– if you can’t see the room, then color and space and to some extent even texture can’t do their jobs.

And, of course, light not only affects moods, but it also affects how well we can move through a space or use the space.

Consider, for instance, the great importance of light in a senior care home– it must be bright, without glare or shadows that could cause older eyes to miss obstacles in their path, or would make reading difficult.

These photos show how a room can be flooded with light, without being harsh or causing glare.

Leslie Saul & Associates would love to discuss how light will benefit your next architecture and interior design project.
